The Göthlin family’s burgher home from the latter half of the 19th century is a unique museum that looks just as it did when it was donated to the town by the youngest daughter, Ingrid, who died in 1961. Time has stood still here. During a guided tour, you can experience and marvel at the paraphernalia and details that attest to the family’s interests. You will find samples here of Miss Ingrid’s avid interest in China painting and also art, photographs, furniture, toys and decorative objects dating from the 17th century onwards. In the summer of 2019, the manor will feature “Femina fashion”, an exhibition of women’s fashion from 1890–1930 from the Göthlin family’s wardrobe. The beautiful garden overlooking Lake Norasjön is open to visitors.
